I'm more worried about how it can be a make or break weight, admittedly, but so far it seems to not conflict. Especially since it's helping me slow down any dramatic shift I might be tempted to do as she keeps encountering challenges to the faith or girl next door thing.
I think also there's a difference between changing on a surface level - like teen rebellion - and really being challenged and changing as a result, you know?
